About the PWA

The PWA was started in late 2000 by Bill Stubblefield and Nate "Mookie" Smith with the aim of taking fantasy wrestling to bold new heights. The PWA is a fantasy wrestling league. In other words, you make up a wrestler you want to wrestle, challenge whom you want, and handle him however you want. The outcome of matches will be based upon roleplaying and the final outcome is decided by the TNM 7 Wrestling Simulator.

The PWA's Championship Committee is comprised primarily of Bill Stubblefield and the cardwriting staff. Co-Founder Bill Stubblefield has the final say on anything regarding the PWA, including match results, matchwriting, card lineups, etc. Current cardwriters from time to time include PWA President Bill Stubblefield, Vice President Nate Smith, Comissioner Naomi Butler, among others. All are veteran e-fed roleplayers and match writers. Any issues with the way a match is written or a character is handled should be taken up with the PWA President via e-mail.

Complaining to a cardwriter or discussing a gripe publicly is one of the quickest ways to be fired from the PWA. You must realize there are various reasons for losing matches. A loss today may be setting you up for a major push tomorrow. Part of playing the game is learning to lose... if you can't do that, then you shouldn't play. It's not uncommon for the championship committee to test an up and coming roleplayer by jobbing him for a while before moving him to the next level. If complaints and whining become excessive, you will be warned. If it continues, you will be asked to leave.
